TED is a Future Project. TED Denizli College Koşu Yolu Kindergarten and its two preschools located on the TED Denizli College Saruhan Campus continue to carry the Turkish Education Association's torch in Denizli with their education system that draws from tradition to the future. Our preschool located on Koşu Yolu caters to children aged 36 months and older, while our preschool on the Saruhan Campus caters to children aged 48 months and older.
Based on the principles outlined in the Preschool Education Program proposed by the Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Basic Education and the Turkish Education Association's Preschool Education Program, a unique program implemented exclusively at TED Schools is implemented, drawing on a variety of programs, including the Project Approach, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, High Scope, Head Start, Gymboree, Gems, and more. This holistic program, characterized by its developmental, spiral, and eclectic features, is grounded in the developmental characteristics of children. When planning learning processes, the goal is to support students' development and the dynamic interaction between developmental areas by creating different educational processes in line with learning outcomes and indicators, and to elevate them to the highest level they can reach.
This program, based on the principle of flexibility, incorporates flexibility into all areas, including collaborative growth decision-making, research skills, and the personal learning of self-care skills in daily life, as embraced in nutrition programs. Our students' experiences at orientation provide them with a strong and ready start to primary school.
Thanks to our preschool's unique curriculum and our school's rich learning environment, our students acquire targeted skills and behaviors through playful, hands-on activities in which they actively participate. Through activities in Turkish and English, they open doors to different cultures and discover new ways to express themselves.
The weekly program includes activities in English, Physical Education, Swimming, Dance, Gymnastics, Visual Arts, Music, Robotics/Coding, and Mind Games/Chess, led by specialized teachers.
